I’ve got Radar Scope on the Ipad and police scanner going on the iphone. All fingers and toes are crossed.

Thanks Tim. It wasn’t as bad as it looked last night. This morning was pretty scary but no damage to report. One more round this afternoon and we’ll be out of it.

If any of you guys like to watch weather the app on itunes called Radar Scope is awesome! It’s about $10 but worth every penny and more if you spend much time outdoors. It gives you acess to real time radar data from most of the radar towers in the US. It also shows towns, major hwys, draws boxes where there are warnings, and also your exact location.
I also like the Wx alert app that acts just like a weather radio that is always active and sends audible warnings to your phone.

    I think its finally over.

Intimidating view looking west from my drive. Note the tree on the left missing the top…

This was the view from my drive two years and a few days ago.

Just down the street about 4 miles.

Cool pictures Mike but dang man, don’t risk anything important just for us! 😉

It was pretty much over when I went out. This isn’t normal weather for our area and I feel like it’s important to capture and save it.
Besides, I feel alot better out on the road then sitting helpless in my house hoping for the best. Been there done that don’t care to do it again.

I talked to site member (dub) Todd Taylor of Taylor Electric in Huntsville Al last night and he and his crew were working on replacing one of the major lines that were down from an earlier tornado when debris started falling out of the sky. They took cover immediately
