My first week with my first nikon and I’m impressed. This little camera isn’t much to hold for what it cost and when I first opened it I thought it looked like a toy. Now that I’ve spent some time on the Kayaks with this camera I’ve really warmed up to it. For a Kayak trip this is so much nicer and less stressful then carrying several thousand in a “waterproof” case. The Built in GPS map it sweet and could come in handy on some of the rivers I plan to visit this year.  So far it’s been impressive. I just hope it’s tough.

I really like having the 1080 video as well as a very capable P&S camera. A few from today. I’ll post to this thread as I get more images burned onto this one.

I got the same camera a few weeks ago. I have not tried the underwater shot as I haven’t fished in much than stained bass water. I haven’t tried very hard, but yet figure out the GPS function.

Overall, I am pleased with it.

Have not heard too much about the AW100 and have been still “sitting on the fence”

I also, do not allow my D700, (only 12mp ;)) to venture near my boat,
