    Hey guys –

Mountain Khakis is running a very attractive 35% off sale on selected models of their pants (which I love).  The old standby “Original Mountain Pant” is one of the options, and the flannel-lined OMP is the other.   The sale runs from 11/23 through 11/29, and the code to get the discount is 35BLACK.

I’ve been meaning to throw my .02 up on the MK’s.

First.. thanks for the discount.  I discovered MK’s about a year ago and love them, but have a very hard time spending the full ticket price.

It seems like there is a great deal of inconsistency in their product, however.  When did the OMP turn into such a flimsy khaki?  My first pair of OMP’s are nearly as heavy as my pair of Alpine’s.  Also, MK’s sizing is horribly inconsistent.  It’s a real pain/expense to have to deal with returns when you buy online.

I would purchase 10 pairs if I knew what I was getting (was the same as what I have.)

    Hey Steven –

    Hmm, that’s interesting.

I am wearing a pair of them right now and can say they are the best and most comfortable pants I won (I have 4 pairs).

Zach, is the Snake River Pant the all-synthetic that you mentioned earlier in this thread? If so, it is now listed on the MK website and I would love to hear your review.

    Hey Shane –

    Yes, that’s it.

Zach…how would you describe the cut of the Snake River pants?

    Cameron –

Exactly like the regular Mt. Khakis but without as much tendency to run short in the lower legs (because the fabric doesn’t shrink like the cotton ones).
