    Hey guys –

R.L. Winston has a beautiful new website; they just unveiled it over at winstonrods.com.

I have always admired the branding and ad savvy of Winston more than any other company.

    Zach,

I love Winston rods! I also love that the spent the bucks to get a great visual appearance that conveys the right message to their target audience. Nicely done! The only thing that I was surprised at was they have a blank Title Tag on their home page.

I am also a Winston fan. They seem to be a great company willing to emphasize tradition while at the same time embracing the advancements in technology. Nice upgrade to their site!

I always liked how Winston used to offer factory rods with either downlock or uplock reel seats on the trout rods.

Looks very high tech. I would have liked Winston rather keeping in touch with it’s long history of rod making with a more classic appearance.

Winston has one thing that distinguishes from all other major rod companies and that’s it’s heritage. It all began in depression years of 1929 where Robert Winther and Lew Stoner started their Winston Rod Company. I think a company with such a heritage should always use their long history as the foundation or their marketing.
