MemberZach i’ve been listening almost all of the podcasts last week and really learned allot. Not only about trout fishing but also lots of other things like what comes to guiding etc. Thanks for that, in europe we are not really familiar with guides.
My personal fishing is mostly lake fishing for trout. We don’t have any trout rivers in the Netherlands. Will there be a stillwater trout fishing podcast somewhere soon?

The Itinerant AnglerOlle –
Honestly, I don’t know of anyone who fishes that way, although I have been thinking about doing a Pyramid Lake podcast of some kind.
You don’t have guides in Europe?

MemberLooking forward to hearing from Derek, i actually met him at a local art fair in michigan (grand haven) right after he quit whatever he did for a job before painting full time, and was still living here. Seemed like a cool cat, i should have bought some of his stuff before he got so popular!!

MemberYeah that sounds right and ghillies they only have in the UK.
There is a new trend going on here in Holland that you can go out zander fishing with a ‘guide’. He will take care of everything for that day like gear and a boat. Zander fishing is quite popular here. What also becomes a new kind of business is taking people for a week to scandinavia or even the US. It’s obviously is not a real market but more something to pay youre own fishing with.

Mike McKeownMemberi-Tunes has been doing it’s stuff a little while now, quite a large file size… but cant wait…

The Itinerant AnglerFile size is up because I decreased the amount of compression. The podcast is now 256kpbs , which is the new standard iTunes MP3 compression amount.
