    For $90 the current F1.8 is pretty good deal.

    I forgot to mention that I had to wipe the drool from my mouth when I played around with the 50mm f1.4 the other day.  It is great in low light to open up to f1.4.  But again, for $90 the other white meat looks pretty appetizing as well.

    Makes a really good portrait lens on the smaller chip cameras with a effective focal length of 70mm. Sweet bokeh too.
