I’m a new member here recruited by another new member (steelhyde) and figured I would start my first post with some pics and report from a recent trip that Tim and I went on.

4 days of floating in late November on the Bighorn – just a couple weeks ago.  Best part of this trip was being able to fish drys, streamers and nymphs all at the same time.  Great weather and some good fish caught.  The notable fish of the trip was Tim’s monster rainbow.  This thing was huge.

Anyway, hope to talk with all of you soon.

Yeah it took a 22 para-adams on 8x fluro in the slick behind a big boulder, under some low lying willows.

    1) What are you doing in DC and 2) how far are you from the Smokies?

You should be fishing the upper potomac for smallies, I’m sure there’s other good fishing around there as well.

You work in politics…. Watch out for that Foley guy! Get out of town quick! There are alot of great Rivers up there and the Blue Ridge Mountains. Check out Murrays Flyshop its pretty close.

Great first post fishmich. There is some good fishing in western Maryland not too far way from you.
