    I got the wild hair last week to make a new fly tying bench. I’ve been wanting to do some upgrading and looked in my workroom and noticed some old pine 1x6s laying around. Pulled out the tools and started building with no idea where it was going to lead me. So of the upgrades I wanted were room for more spools, a bigger work area, a small shelf and spot to hide containers for hooks, beads and dubbing. After a weeks worth of work this is what I ended up with.
