I do a annual trip to the Big Hole with my dad every year. This year was a little shorter than most, but just as awesome!
On the way we fished a smaller stream that my dad had not fished for 20+ years, but had actually taken me to before I could remember ever having been there…. Pfft and I though I was taking him somewhere new and cool! lol. No pics this day, but some good memories were made. 🙂
Our main day of fishing was on the Big Hole and it did not disappoint!
We fished with Brad Platt of Anderson & Platt Fly Fishing in Dillon. Great guys!

Outstanding report and pictures Corey. Â Most of my favorite fishing memories are from trips with my Dad…it’s really tough to beat a father-son day on the water. Â Looks like you guys had a great weekend and got into some really good fish. Â I bet that grayling had you smiling from ear-to-ear. Â Very cool.

Corey, it looks like you had an awesome trip! I like your story about your “secret spot”. Did you get deja vue? Its funny how there really are not any secret spots when you think about it.

Adam: Yeah, I guess there really are not many ‘secrets’! 😉 I might have to spend some time picking my dads brain for locations. 😉 I think he spent a bit of time fishing a good amount of water that is now private and very hard to get into.
Kelly: Going up to row Joel’s (from the board here) BBW boat in a couple weeks! After I get a feel for it and if I dig it, I’ll put in my order. Cant wait to have a boat next year!
You get to row Joel’s boat? Hell, he wouldn’t even let me wash that thing…………
