It looks like I’ll be going to Montana over Memorial Day weekend.

I am sure Clint and Joel know of a pretty good place to fish in May…. 😉

Why Lando I have no idea what you are refering to. ;D Seriously, there could be a lot of potential spots. Mostly depends on runoff. I don’t know much about the northwest part of the state. Although I think they will most likely have a pretty good runoff this year.

Correct me if I am wrong Clint but I think Lando is referring to Colorado…right? 😉

Rick, Where exactly will you be in the state? That would help us give you a better idea of where to go.

Montana, Colorado…..whatever…..I will be there in three to four weeks. ;D

Joel is right, all of the good spots I know of are in Colorado. Let us know where you’ll be and how far you can travel, and I might be able to think of someplace to catch at least a whitefish in Montana.

I’ll be in Libby at least for the wedding.

The Kootenai is what I was going to recommend Rick. If you are looking for a nice drive you could try the Flathead below Kerr Dam. Flathead lake is really drawn down right now in anticipation of a huge run off. It may fish really well and it does not get much pressure. You can even catch smallies. Keep in mind you will need a rez permit to go along with you fishing license. You can always send me a P.M. before you take off and I will be happy to give you a more accurate fishing report at that time and maybe some more options.
