    Marlene Hada Benefit Raffle

Duane Hada and his family have been consistent in supporting the great watersheds and
fisheries of Arkansas, Oklahoma and Missouri. Duane is well-known to a great number of fly
fishermen, as a guide, fly fishing instructor and artist.

The Hadas’ have contributed much to conservation via donated artwork and personal time to
numerous worthy causes. Now they need your help.

Duane’s wife and life partner, Marlene, is courageously fighting a serious battle with breast
cancer…the medical expenses are mounting daily. Marlene is a career school teacher, and
continues teaching, despite surgery and subsequent on-going treatments.

Here is where you can help. Many friends of Marlene and Duane have donated valuable and
wonderful gifts for a raffle to generate funds to help this fine family through a bad time.

The following is a list of raffle items to date, but other items are coming in daily. Raffle ticket
prices are $20 or 6 tickets for $100.

This is all about friends in need. About what really counts.
Please take the time and lend a hand to a family that has unselfishly given so much to all
aspects of community, conservation, fly fishing, art and education.

    Sincerely,
The Friends of Marlene, Duane and MeKenzie Hada

Drawing will be held Saturday, May 17, 2008 – 5 pm at Duane Hada’s Rivertown Gallery in Cotter Arkansas – your presence is not required to win.

The wonderful support from all those in the industry who know and regard the Hada’s so highly keeps growing every day. As I’m sure Zach will attest the Hadas are simply good people. Zach if this fits with your pholosophy for the board would it be possible to pin this to the top.
We hope you all will give what you can for this family.

Not only do you get to help out a family in need but the prize list is phenomenal, how many times do you see a raffle where a River Boat is effectively “second prize”.

Steve I think it is great that you guys are doing this for the Hada’s. I have never met them before but it is obvious to me that they must be great people by the amount of support they are getting! You can count me in! Hopefully when Marlene finds out that she is getting support all the way from Montana it will put a little extra fight in her and she kicks the crap out that cancer!

    Keep up the fight Marlene!

    Right on Joel,

thanks from all of us down here.
Every little bit anyone can give will help.

would enjoy taking you fishing if you pick up prize 3.

Steve picking up prize 3 would be cool but what do you think about me picking up the john boat and then you showing me how to use it? Just a thought. 😉

I was bummed I didn’t get to speak with you yesterday when I called the shop. The lady I spoke with was very nice and the whole process was silky smooth. I sure hope you get a lot of support from the folks on this board. The last thing a cancer victom needs to worry about is financial problems when they are battling for their life.

No worries man. You got it.

As a sidenote you should see the Duana Hada hand-painted “brown trout” edition Supreme the guys at supreme were showing off at Sowbug. I’ll post some pics in a day or two.

    I’m waiting for the Brookie.
