    Hey guys,

I will be going to Park City/Deer Valley Utah for spring break (late march) and wanted to do some fly fishing in addition to skiing. Anyone have any advice for late winter fishing in this specific area of Utah, rivers, or guides/flyshops that would be great. It seems like the Provo river would be the best/closest place. I did some research from google, but the best information is always from the grapevine when it comes to fishing.

    Thanks for the help.

    Jay,

Go to the website Utah on the fly. There are many nice and knowledgable local people there ready for help.
I love fish Provo. the spring time maybe a little bit challenge, I never fish there in the winter/spring time… midge fishing maybe. There are tons of public accesses on the provo… and the medium size river just perfect for some big browns. Enjoy! And looking forward to read your report!

The Provo or the Green are your best options in that part of the state. I know Lando knows the area pretty well. Maybe he can chime in and give you some solid advice.

If you are staying in Park City, the Provo is 20 minutes away.

Thanks again for the help. We ended up fishing the Middle Provo because it was the most convenient. Midges were on the menu.

    Totals:
    2 Mountain Whitefish…. glorified carp
    8 Browns
