here’s a quick fly to tie that was shown to me by Ray, guide and store manager at Lake Erie Ultimate Angler. i haven’t learned to fish streamers yet because, since i’m a beginner, i’ve wanted to grasp the art of nymphing first. i tie streamers for my 81 year old father who enjoys them and fishes them with more confidence. i hope you enjoy it and please offer any advice or ways to improve the fly. thanks and tight lines.
Hook: Tiemco 9395 size 4 – 10
Thread: Uni-Thread 3/0 or 6/0
Body: Sparkle Braid
Underwing: Any Marabou
Overwing: McLean Bar Dyed Marabou
