Looking for an Archaeologist in Georgia

Hey guys –

I am looking for an Archaeologist in Georgia for an article I’m planning to write this fall.  I want this person to float a couple rivers with me and examine some old structures.

Can anyone help point me to a fly fishing archaeologist?  Maybe at UGA, Emory, or Kennessaw State?

I hold a degree in Archaeology but don’t live in Georgia so I’m out, nor was my area of expertise the SE US (bronze age Mediteranian mostly).

You may want to contact Stephen Hammack, he is the on-site archeologist at Robbins Air Force Base and I know that he has done a good bit of work in middle Georgia, including the Ocmulgee river.

call the DOT. I know they have arch. Working for them. I listened to their main one at a teacher workshop one day and she said they are always looking to do things around the State.
I know that sounds crazy but the DOT really does have a section of their office dedicated to archeology.
