Here is a good lake trout fly that has given me good size trout in the last 2 season here in Quebec
In this part of Quebec I fish for lake trout in the deep pools of the Aux Outardes River from late May to late June, my setup is a long 6 to 8 pound leader matched with a intermediate line.

Thread – black
Eyes: silver chain
Rib- gold wire
Body – black crystal flash chenille
Wing- Red, Blue or purple & black bucktail & crystal flash pearl
Throat- Red bucktail
