    There is one life of tree for salmon I found(1999)
    Lenok are close related to Taimen than other trout
    Just do a quick search… I bet there are something slightly different now a day…
    Gary might have his thought… 😉

    Here is the newer and more completed “life of tree (Salmonids)”.
    Base on several genetic reserch, modified diagram from Thomas P. Quinn (2005) – The behavior and ecology of pacific salmon and trout.
    The closer “the branches” group together means they are more related to each other…

    I suppose I always say this when the topic of weird trout comes up, but anyone who likes weird trout should really pick up Trout of the World by Prosek. It not only give you a lot of pretty pictures to gawk at, but you learn lots of great facts like there was attempt to stock Huchen in the US.
