i just got back from up there this past few days….had a great time fishing for steelies up in the grand marais area….hire a great local guide who i met at the FF show in minneapolis….
the steelhead were just starting to run and we caught about 8 between us in a full day.

She’s told me that she’s been tying on her dad’s vise (which, incidentally, I gave him a couple years ago, a Griffin #2A) and has tied flies she wants to fish with.
