    I bought a leader making kit in the Keys and have been making my own leaders.

    I can’t tell you why the leaders work better – I rarely use a tapered leader for the fishing I do.

    But, I CAN appreciate a well tied bimini !

    Brett,

    If you really want to try something fun, try making furled leaders.

    Craig…I am just starting to fish with furled leaders and they are really great.
