My fishing buds and I headed down to S. Missouri to assist our biologist friend in a bug count on a local stream that was very skinny, very clear and can get pretty technical, especially when dealing with the influences of this summers drought.
Hookups were tough and you had to really go into stealth mode approaching any holes holding fish.
We didn’t get skunked but the big boys were hanging low and not to be seen.
The results of the bug count were almost off the charts…a very healthy stream.

Hope the duck hunting went well.  Should have been a good day for it.

We had 8 guys show up last night and it was cool to catch up with some old friends and meet some new ones.  We are going to do it again in a month or so.  Check out the FB page for my site for more details (this is the link to it).
