    Well –

The trip to Lake Amistad from Houston’s Ellington Field (home to NASA’s astronauts and their airplanes) was great, though slim in the fish department. That said, I made the most of the one bass that was caught, and launched itself into the air in a single bout of head-thrashing fury.

Glad I caught it – and was cool my buddy managed it on the fly, and kudos to him for persisting, as he tried 5 flies before he irked the bass enough that it came off its nest for a strike.

The osprey were better fishermen than the guys I was with!

A picture is thousand words that takes less than a second while a thousand words is a picture that takes a month.
