Um, not to be insulting, but the term “Welcome to my Underground Lair!” comes to mind to me too.

    Great fish, for sure!

Totally SWAG’ed statistics: Fly fisherman comprise maybe 5% of total anglers at best. Half of that 5% ever catch salmonids that size ever. Of that half, maybe 1/10th of 1% are eccentric enough to wear something like that while holding something like that. Not to belittle the fact that he picked a fly to match his outfit.

Which makes this exercise totally awesome. That is the photo of the day for sure!

I feel like I need to rethink my “wear subdued colors while fishing” theory.

I think that Simms is coming out with a vintage early 80’s line that is similar to that.

I’m saving this one for the “best-of” pictures post 2008.

Heh.  I wear a similar dry suit while snorkeling trout streams for my job.  Never used it for fishing (and now I know not to ;D)  I know some guys wear them for kayak fishing big water on freezing cold days. I do like the front zipper on the suit in the photo.  Mine has to be unzipped from the back, usually by someone other than the wearer; real bore on those cold mornings after a few cups of coffee.  Nice fish.
