DustyLando, I hear your warning loud and clear.
Last week as I had just started fishing a guy came up to me and asked if I was from around the area. I told him that I live close by, and he proceeded to tell me that he had been fishing that stretch most of the day. I asked him how it was fishing and he replied very seriously, “I think my buddy was playing a trick on me when he told me to stop and fish here, I don’t think there are fish in this part of the river.” He then asked me if I ever catch anything around here, just as he finished his sentence I set the hook and replied, “very rarely.” Then I proceeded to land the 20″ brown. I have never had more perfect timing in my life.
Hey Joel, after talking to you a couple of weeks ago I finally got around to visiting your website http://www.montanatroutaholics.com/ (shameless plug). I really like how you included all those pictures small fish, and then one picture of a large fish. I wonder who caught the big one?
You should probably be paying him royalties ;D
