For anyone that was on the fence about purchasing an iPad, now is the best time to purchase one. I would not be surprised to see the price go back up on the used market now that the iPad 2 is sold out just about everywhere.
A few of us have mentioned using them to display our work and carry around our portfolios. Since owning the original iPad on first launch, I have been quite impressed.
With the release of the iPad 2, many have listed their ipads for sale on their local classified boards and Ebay. They have been selling for a fraction of what they were before the latest release. Our company has purchased many 16gig Wireless iPad’s for about 300ish. Not a bad price for anyone wanting to use it for photography, contracts, email, billing, etc.
Since picking up the iPad 2 I have to say that I love it, but after owning the original I would not pay for the upgrade. The camera is nice for convenience but it is not very good. I think Apples intent was to offer the camera more for facetime and web conf., etc. It works ok for video. The new design feels good in the hands and is much thinner. The case was a nice touch. Speed is much better and graphics will benefit from the A5 chip.
