I guess I’d like to introduce myself to this board.

Welcome Brett! Great post! I realy like your second picture with the fishes head half in and out of the water.

Keep the pictures and posts coming. Some of us have very few fishing options this time of year and we live through those of you who can still fish!

The above picture is a fish’s head half in and out of the water—definitely one of my favorite shots that I took over the past few weeks.

That is probably one of the better pictures a guy could take anytime let alone in the past few weeks, cheers.  Welcome to the board.  With an introduction like that you have raised your own expectations and we will expect pictures like that every week to feed our addiction ;D  I think that your photography skills with a point-and-shoot are great.  Great story line also.  I enjoy seeing posts with a story/picture/narrative of fishing trips.

Welcome to the board, Mr. McCrae. Must have been a pretty sharp dude who pointed you to the site. And snapped those pictures. Might have to come out of hiding with a follow up report…

All of the pictures from this post were taken east of Cleveland–most on the Chagrin and Conneaut.

I’m looking at hitting Erie area on Thursday, weather and water conditions permitting.

There’s a decent amount of access to streams that are fairly close to Cleveland, the best being on the Rocky and the Chagrin.
