I’m from Ontario, Canada. As I posted under “Writing” here (sorry if this ends up being considered a “double post”), I’m an aspiring writer (trying to work on my writing style by posting on the Net). I’ve posted on various fly fishing forums and even have a blog under the name “Mickey Finn” on Fly Fish Blogger (here’s the link — http://www.flyfishblogger.com/index.php?cmd=blogger&blog=186 — please excuse the shameless self-promotion; hope I haven’t broken any rules by doing so; I welcome any comments from anybody interested in what I written). I’ve been fly fishing for over 40 years (that gives away my age I guess). I’m a “trout bum” by choice as much as neccessity. By that, I suppose I mean I’m out on the water more than anything else AND hopefully will eventually find a way to make a “living” at the thing that makes me truly come “alive”.
A buddy just turned me on to this site, and after looking it over I gotta say it’s friggin sweet! I’m just another fish bum who recently cleared out his bank account on an entry level DSLR, it’s cool to see what other people out there are shooting, and maybe even get a little feedback.
