Thought I’d say hello to all of you and tell you a bit about myself

I’m a 19 (for a month, gosh I’m getting old) year old currently living in Juneau Alaska, I grew up in Eagle River Alaska (north of Anchorage slightly) and have been fly fishing for almost 10 years now.

I’m glad to see I’m not the only one to put mickey mouse rods to the test on salmon. We actually landed a good number of chums on a Shakespeare push-button Yu-Gi-Oh (I’m almost positive I didn’t spell that right) we bought at the village. It finally bit the dust when we hooked up a big king. After that fish the drag would either slip and go into free-spool or lock up completely.

Never been to Juneau, but look like you’ve got some sweet fishing.

    Any cuts in the area?

    Where are you counting fish?

Welcome, Pat. You have some nice work–I especially liked the downhill silhouette. Much of my family has lived in Ketchikan for the better part of two decades. I’ve done quite a bit of fishing on the island and on POW. My brothers and I are wanting to put together a trip to Baranoff in the next couple of years.

Looking forward to more of your posts from the upcoming season.
