With all of the incredibly gifted photographers on this board…I think you should start a monthly photography beginners tutorial. Each month you could have one of the other guys on this board write a brief tutorial for those of us that are just getting started. Topics could range from Shooting Moving Water, to Depth of Field, to Landscapes, Black and White, metering and white balance (both of which I STILL dont understand) etc etc.
I am a hands on learner. My advancement in photography has slowed down greatly because I dont learn very well by just reading about something. For instance…I could read every photoblog in the planet over a years time and not learn as much as I would walking by a stream with Zach for 4 hours with cameras in hand.
But the idea of a tutorial focused (no pun intended) on outdoor photography would be very good for those of us who are green around the ears.
Just food for thought.
