this one will be for big hybrid bass and stripers. Buddy of mine hooked into a 10+lb striper and while trying to slide it up onto the bank, it took one final run and snapped his 8wt.

I would actually like to get one net big enough and easy enough for me to handle myself while fishing alone. I also want one with an extension etc.. for when I am fishing with friends.

Cabela’s Big game net is a great one for the money.

Now that’s what I love to see! What did it go?

    Thanks for the info, Travis.

About 25lbs on the Boga.  I wish that Hyde was mine
–it belongs to my buddy John, and Rusty (our good friend) was rowing us down some shallow runs when I watched the fish give chase and annihilate her plug.  A coulple hundred yards later and after almost snapping the rod …she wore him out.

BTW—Gander Mtn has some serious big fish nets as well.  You gotta have some space to fit them, but if you’re chasing muskie…it’s worth the hassle.

(Point taken guys–I got excited on my first muskie, and since then I’ve learned the handing techniques and what not to do—sorry to steer off course)

Good luck on your choice, Cole.

Have you checked out the ego nets?

Just an FYI Travis, holding a muskie vertically like that is usually death to the fish.
