    …but for some reason, whiskey seems to feel right whilst tying up a batch of beadhead pheasant tails.

    Similarly, I feel an urge to drink Bud and watch NASCAR while tying up Chernobyl ants.

    No real topic, just felt the need to share.

    I figured out a long time ago that I should not drink and tie; bugs, like the woman from the bar, do not look quite so good in the morning. However, if it is cripples you are wanting to tie…pour me a dram of your finest.

    Well, by default my flies are so homely that finding drunk fish is the only way to get them any action.

    Whiskey soaked flies…good idea. Could be a new go-to-fly when nothing else will work. At the very least, we have something to console ourselves after being outsmarted by something with a brain the size of our pinky nail.
