Juan’s Hoppers always get me fired up.  He has mad skilz. After his recent post, I had to photograph some fly art of my own and get ready to tie up a mess.  Some of these DO hunt 😉  There are a few tying tricks included if you look closely.

Siren: enchantress: a woman who is considered to be dangerously seductive; to lure sailors to destruction on the rocks where the nymphs lived.

Beautiful work Neal, those are amazing.

I guess the rubber legs through the tubing keeps them from fouling?

Those flies would be perfect for pond hopping in my area in April, May, and early June. The fish start going deep after that.

The trout will hit them all summer.
