    Hey Guys,
Sorry about not really being in the loop lately. I’ve been trying to finish getting my degree out here at Wyoming. So here is why i am posting This topic. For my Pro Siminar class my prof gave one paper to write for the entire semester. The subject is history of something you are passionate about. I have choosen FLY FISHING as my topic. We have to have like thirty five sources cited in our paper. I only have just a few so i am reaching out to my Fishing Brothers to see if you guys can point me in any particular direction. I am trying to focus my paper on Fly Fishing in the USA.
    thanks guys,
    nick

    Nick,

Sounds like great fun, and what a great state to be in while studying.

Here’s some books I used, though they’re slanted to what some have called the birthplace of fly fishing in America, the Beaverkill:

Martin Keane’s, Classic Rod and Rodmakers; Ed van Put’s The Beaverkill (and his newest book); Austin Francis’s Catskill Rivers.

Keane’s book is very rare and expensive. Luckily some libraries have it.
