It’s a gear fish. I did pull a fly around but it was a very slow day and bait was the only way. These fish are not so easy on the fly as you well know… When they are spread out thin you might as well be casting in your yard. Soon they will bunch up, and finding them will be much easier.
The wind shut me down completely today so I am headed to Cordell Hull Tomorrow! There’s a good chance that we might get a fly caught Striper on the Hull. If not it won’t be because we didn’t try.
