Hey all you UGA folks –
If anyone is interested, I will be speaking to the [s:1fsdlptm]assembled biology graduate student body[/s:1fsdlptm] three or four people who show up to hear me on Thursday at 3:30 at the University of Georgia in their Graduate Seminar Series. I have been recruited by [s:1fsdlptm]an evil conglomerate of corporate titans out to steal your soul[/s:1fsdlptm] Dr. Gary Grossman of this board to [s:1fsdlptm]inflict Ben Stein-esque slideshows and graphs[/s:1fsdlptm] give you a nice presentation on how to break into outdoor writing. Those who plan to attend should [s:1fsdlptm]RSVP via email so I can send you a free coffee mug[/s:1fsdlptm] just show up.

Nate Hammond is a member of the UGA Flyfishing Club. If he sees this, I’m sure he’ll get the word out.
Record it and post it as a seminar series on this site.
I would love to go hear you speak, Eat at the grit, and hang with old friends. Maybe pour some beer on Drifter… BUT WITH WORK… cant do it.
I also let all my Fly Fishing Classical Guitarist friends know and they will be there.
Zach gave a great talk and I would recommend him to anyone looking for a speaker on outdoor writing, fishing, or the writing life (here’s a hint, develop your photographic skills {all puns intended}, and don’t give up your day job).
This is most likely going to permanently destroy any myth that I am capable of putting two sentences together, but…
