Hey Jay Lee. . . I was searching Google for instructions on how to make a DIY lanyard and came across your webpage.  Wow, I had no idea you had such a robust fishing site, there is some great stuff in there.  I especially liked the article on DIY lanyards and also the Catskill dry flies.  I remember you sent a link to the site recently but I just looked at the pictures then, now I see you have more. Thanks Neal! I never expected such a praise with a whole topic on it…   😮

I started the site/blog because I was fed up sending friends pictures of my fishing trips by mail. Using a site I could post the pictures, add some comments and all of my friends could take a look & read at their leisure.

Quite soon I found out it’s a nice way to just share my ideas and thoughts about (mostly) fly fishing in general.

Jay, I have to commend you as well. I have been trying one way or another to build a site for years. Finally I have done so. The hardest part is just getting started, doing it and sticking with it.
