    Hi all…

    I am going to Chile in January and want to make sure and take lots of photos of the landscape as well rivers I will be fishing. In the past, I have always used a smaller compact digital camera and have had to sacrifice zoom capabiities, quality, etc.

    I’d be tempted to get a GOOD compact for that budget.

    Canon S90 or S95, or G10, or G11, or the newest Lumix from Panasonic.

    Personally I’d love to own an S90 or 95.

    My vote would go for the new Nikon P7000, great pocket camera that does most everything you will want.

    I love the S90, I should caution though that it doesnt have good/great zoom. that depends on what your looking for.
