Help me identify this rod

I have 4 older G’s and G2 7wt. Wouldn’t trade the G’s for any new rods. (of course as I get older I seem to like older things better!) One thing I always notice is that they are about a line weight lighter in action than a comparable newer rod. My brother in law’s 4 wt Winston LT is about the same feel as my G885/3. Is the 6 you bought a 2 or three piece? Don’t think it affects the action much just the carrying. Sounds like a factory rod to me as well, since the script logo is hand done, they all look a little different, though the nomenclature is consistant.
