    The fishing around IF isn’t that great.

    if you have a car
    drive down the highway for an hour towards Palisades Reservoir, along the South Fork of the snake

    go past the dam for about 3-4 miles, look for the sign Big Elk Creek
    look on a map as well to see where it is, drive up to the parking lot then catch some 15-20 inch cutts…great stream an hour from IF

    Depending on how much time you have, it may be worth your time do drive up to Ashton.
