Started my trip at the tailwaters and satisfied the need for a hard tug. Water was a bit off color giving me a chance to fool a few of the older residents.
Then I headed east to the mountains to hike up to the little guys. Many natives were willing to come out and play. Ramps were in full glory along with some morels. Beautiful time to be in the hills.
All in all a great time and one I can’t wait to repeat.
Nick- The bigger fish came from a tailwater in Indiana that has been producing some nice fish over the past couple of years. The natives were from near Elkins, WV.
Mike- We will fish this summer for sure. Let me know if you want to head out for trout or bass and I’m in.
