Have any of you cast the new TFO BVK?

For the first time in a few years, weather was great
Yes it was. I just need to figure out how I am going to get back down that way in June.
I had a chance to cast the 6 and 8 weight BVK’s at the Asheville show this weekend.
The 6 weight was a great casting rod. Truly something I would have no problem buying if my real rod ever broke.
The 8 weight probably (hopefully?) could have used a different line on it as it didn’t really blow my skirt at all. It felt dead and lifeless in comparison to the 6. We tried it all ranges and just couldn’t wake it up.
Still, being a non-productive member of society with income to match, I’ll probably get a 9 weight but only after casting one first to make sure the 6 weight I cast was indicative of the series.
