Hatch Magazine on Flats Fishing for Stripers

This isn’t something we Southern river striper anglers get to do at all, but man would it be fun. Hatch Magazine (whose website I really like) has an article up now on flats fishing for stripers off Martha’s Vineyard. It’s crazy to think that our river-runners are the same fish you can catch in a coldwater bonefish-like environment, but there it is.

It makes me wonder whether there would ever be inshore flats fishing for stripers on the Gulf or lower Atlantic coasts.

I have always wanted to do that. There is some really cool footage of striper flats fishing in the Connect DVD.
That’s a cool site too.
