I have a guide buddy of mine who will be guiding on the Togiak again this year, and he just informed me that I need to tie him some Hare-ball leeches. I did a quick search and came up with nothing. He said it is a Jackson Cardinal pattern, but their website is under construction. So the question is, do any of y’all know of this pattern or have a recipe?

    Thanks,
    Dusty

Do these have a stinger? If so, do you use Mason or wire for the stinger?

I guess you could use just about anything as for as the connetion goes..

I tied some up using Dacron backing (30lbs)..

Im sure you want to stay with something soft..
Shoot If it came right down to it.. Im sure you could even use 30-40lb spider wire.
