    I am heading that way, wondered if anybody has wade fished that area in the bay or ocean

    Been going there for a while and don’t think there are too many options- some good fishing on the Florida side not too far away from Gulf Shores area but not the best on the whole. There is a nice Orvis shop in this relatively new area called the Wharf- about fifteen minutes from where 59 dead ends into the beach…I’m sure they could hook you up with some better ideas…be sure to check out the Flora Bama bar though- its’ pretty hilarious/awesome.

    Some folks have been catching specks off the jetties at Florida point.
