    Howdy Fellow Trout Bums.

    I take an annual Backpacking/Fly Fishing trip each New Years.

    I’ll have 3 days, to fish, hike the park……and now that brookie
    water is open I am looking for any suggestions of streams that
    can be fished in my time period.

    I have fished the Cattaloochee Area of the Park and some of
    the Deep Creek area of the park.

    I found brookies in Cattaloochee!!!  

    If you ever want to see something funny it’s a guy jumping
    up and down because he just landed a 4 1/2 inch fish!!!!

    Any feedback on the GSMNP would be appreciated…not
    really interested in BIG BROWNS or BIG RAINBOWS….
