MemberAs I sit here watching the talking heads talking about the NFL draft, wishing I was fishing but the river is blown out, I remember that I have a bunch of pictures to post from my trip with Tim P to the Green River 2 weeks ago.
Couple of stories: the picture of the boat launching is a new technique I’ve seen – back the truck in to the bumper, get in the boat and row as hard as you can until the boat comes off.

[/align:1zui5ebq]A perfect day?
[align=center:1zui5ebq]
[/align:1zui5ebq]Another crazy thing that happened to me, we were floating along stripping streamers. All of a sudden my sinking line starts stripping out like mad. Next thing I know I’m into my backing and it’s not stopping. I realize, this isn’t a fish but a rock. Turns out, my sinking line got wrapped around a rock and wasn’t budging. Next thing I know, my backing breaks and I lose my entire length of line.
Needless to say I’m not leaving that thing in the river, both for the sake of the river and my wallet. So we trudge back up to where it gets wrapped and start looking. I wade out to mid chest and suddenly spot the line about 10 feet down, waving in the current. I get a nice long stick and fish that stuff outta there after about 10 minutes. Tie back up and keep fishing.
Great trip.

Tim AngeliMemberMark,
I’ve heard that same thing about the A stretch, a lot of good fish in the teens but not very many hogs.

MemberMM-
A car spot being someone who you leave your keys with to move your car down river while you float.

MemberYeah unfortunately floating the B and C wasn’t an option, especially when you can buy a new rig for the cost of a days worth of fishing.
