    I took my brother-in-law fishing the other day for the first time this year and all I can say is it was one of the best days I have ever had!

    The day started off good, but when we saw this it got a whole lot better!

    My brother in law was right by this fish and started freaking out! I calmed him down a little and told him to catch the darn thing. I had him set up with a tandem nymph rig and the small soft hackle seemed to be the bug of choice.

    As you can see by the picture Ed eventually one the battle!

    I eventually got my turn at a big boy myself! Mine wasn’t as think but it was still a very nice fish!

    This fish was the last one of the afternoon. It was hard to leave but you can darn well bet we will be back soon!!!!

    It was definitely a dream day! My brother in law was still shaking with excitement several hours after he caught that big boy! I talked with him this morning and he said he hasn’t been able to get the smile off his face. 😀 Just goes to prove that fly fishing is still the best therapy money can buy!
