    I’m gonna be in Glenwood Springs next week on some business, and will try and hit the Colorado or Roaring Fork in the evenings…anyone have any reports on the fishing?

    The night I arrived we had major rainfall which blew out the RF and Colorado…how’s that for luck.

    Jay, I will head back for sure.  I have not spent much time on the Western Slope for some reason, but now I can see it was a mistake not to head over sooner.  A beautiful area of the state…and I was amazed at the amount of Gold Medal water.  The first two days I was there the rivers were muddy and bright brown in color.  I managed to hit the RF for about an hour later in the week..but it was still high and fast and discolored.
