I am assuming it was Dukes Creek, the non fishing day remark helped that assumption.

It wasn’t, actually, but I’ll put Duke’s on the list of places to visit.

I have been watching this thread for a couple days and havne’t had a chance to respond yet… Alot of people have made good points on both sides that i agree with, but i wanted to make a comparison to the other outdoor sport alot of people spend alot of time doing… deer hunting.

    Hey John –

Yeah, we’d been having some difficulty getting water.

    Rusty,
I’m no master angler but managed ~ 25 fish on a pfp creek there in North Georgia, 4 of which were 10 lb or better.

Howdy Troutwag,   It sounds like it would be a blast.  But as good fortune has it, I am able to fish several tailwaters here that are within two to four hours away.  With many big Browns strarting their Fall run.  I am even going to try this at night next month.  Finally get to toss my XP 7wt.

As for fishing the PFT, I would do it, to say I did.  But the bragging would be as honest as the trip was.  Tell it like it is.

    Rusty,
Are you in the Arkansas vicinity?

    Very close.

    Hey Okieff-

Unfortunately, I started out on those waters the same as most people and I doubt I could offer any sage advice on how to fish them.
