I am looking for pictures of the zoo cougar- actually tied by Kelly Galloup.

Kelly has quite a few videos on Youtube of fly tying tutorials.  I’m guessing that will be your best bet for finding a Zoo Cougar that is “actually tied by Kelly Galloup,” as you can literally watch him tie it and talk you through the tying on the deer hair head.

    Thanks,
I’ve seen the videos and they are good- I was hoping for some closer shots if anyone has some.

Here’s one from the Slide Inn web page:

No guarantee that he tied it, but it looks faithful to his style.

Wanted the pic for comparison to a black variant I’m working on.  It is supposed to be a mad tom or night fishing version.
Any constructive criticism is welcome.  Sorry the profile is off- shooting black is tough.

Great video. Thanks for the link.

The best part is why he does things his way. Not that it’s the only way or even the best way, but just why HE does it his way.

    For Mac users:
you can save the clip using this nifty program called VideoBox: http://www.tastyapps.com/
I also love their other amazing program WebSnapper to make PDF’s of web pages. The amazing part is WebSnapper saves the links in the PDF! So you see a link in the PDF on screen, click on it and your web browser heads off to the link!
