I have a several pheasant wings and tails that my buddy got a few days ago. (there were also several full skins with heads that the kids really wanted to keep, but were just too messy to screw around with)

I have the wings, tails and a partial skin covered in Borax and drying on top of my kitchen cupboards in a box. (Tracy is real happy about that and said something about turning my kids in to rednecks and bird flu) Is that going to work? Do I need to do anything else? I use a lot of hen pheasant wing feathers for my standby stone pattern and really want to keep these babies.

If they come out I will be more than willing to share if anyone can use some.

    Steve-

Provided you opened up the entire tail casing, yes, that will work.

Heron Zach? I can’t tell you how many times I have wanted to blast one of those loud mouthed Pterodactyl looking dinosaurs out of the sky. Spooking everything in the river for a mile downstream… Aaarrrrkkkh acccchhh arrrrrrrch BOOM! ;D

ohh yea, Borax worked good for me.
