This year’s F3T was excellent in my opinion. I was totally charged after watching the great productions. Definitely worth it, especially the Zero to Hero musky piece and the Redfish and Permit shorts. It really makes you want to get out and fish.

Went to the stop in New Braunfels, TX. Very nice. The highlights for me were Musky Country – Zero 2 Hero and the film about the 2 buddies. Can’t remember the name of the film right now, but if you have seen it you will know which film I’m talking about. It has one of the most interesting characters ever portrayed in a fly fishing film. There is the usual quality fish porn, but the bar continues to be raised by the quality of storytelling contained in the films. They have moved way beyond just shot after shot of fish porn.
